This website

This website doesn’t use analytics or tracking cookies.

If you send the contact form, we receive your name, email address, company, number of crews and message. The form is handled by Formspree, our form provider. We use these details only to reply to you.

The app

When a company uses crewster.pro, the app stores:

• Accounts: each person’s name, email address or mobile number, and role, and a password if they set one.
• The company’s customer records: customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, billing and property addresses, access notes such as gate codes and pets, and the jobs, visits and prices for each customer.
• Crew photos and notes: photos are resized on the phone and their location data is removed before upload. The crew chooses whether the customer can see each photo.
• Invoices and payments: invoices, and payments the office records by hand. Card and bank details never pass through crewster.pro.

Whose data it is

A company’s customer records belong to that company. We store and process them to run the service for the company. If you’re a customer of a company that uses crewster.pro, contact that company about your details.

Each company’s data is kept separate from every other company’s.

Services we use

• Google Maps: to place addresses on the map, work out drive times and put stops in order.
• Email delivery: to send sign-in links, invitations and invoices. [Email provider to be confirmed.]
• Twilio: to send text messages (see below).
• Push notifications: between crews and the owner in the app. [Push provider to be confirmed.]
• Intuit QuickBooks Online: only when a company connects it. Customers, service types, invoices and payments sync between the two.
• Formspree: for this website’s contact form.

Text messages

crewster.pro sends text messages from one crewster.pro number, through Twilio:

• To a company’s crew: their invitation and one-time sign-in codes, when the company adds their mobile number.
• To a company’s customers: visit texts, only when the company switches them on and confirms its customers agreed: a reminder the day before a visit, “on my way”, visit done, and visit skipped or moved. That’s usually a few texts per visit.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop all texts from crewster.pro,START to allow them again, or HELP for help. Mobile numbers are used only to send these texts. We never sell them or share them for marketing, and we don’t send marketing texts.

Where data is kept
